Abstract

The bioethical debate in the Polish public space is subordinated to the ideological struggle between conservative circles, centered around the Catholic Church, and liberal circles, demanding the introduction of regulations and laws in Poland similar to those in force in Western Europe. The article reviews and analyzes journalistic and political statements in three exemplary areas: abortion, compulsory vaccinations and the right to strike of medical personnel.
