The article is an attempt at a comprehensive study of the political theory of care. Through a rearrangement of the way that particular trend of philosophy has been described and understood the author proposes the definitions of care, the justifications of its moral obligation and the visions of integration of care into the public sphere. What is more, the author explores the history of the ethics of care and its role in public policy.
